Community Partners Meeting on CPC Nigeria

About this meeting (Virtual)

We are holding a virtual meeting to discuss House Resolution 82, which proposes the re-designation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) due to armed conflict and religious persecution of minority groups, sponsored by Rep. Christopher Smith. At this meeting, we will hear from organizations and community leaders championing this campaign. There will be a discussion weighing the arguments for the community to support this re-designation campaign. Representatives from organizations advocating for this legislation will be on the call to brief us and answer any questions we may have.

You may have many questions, such as what CPC is and how it affects our community. We want to inform you about where we stand in this campaign. Join us on Sunday, May 26th, 2024, at 7 PM EST. Zoom meeting information will be provided before the meeting.
