The Nigerian Center will host an informational session for its 2025 IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). Sponsored by the IRS, the VITA program provides a secure and convenient way for thousands of families and individuals nationwide to complete their annual tax filings.

Eligible individuals and families with an annual income of less than $64,000 can access this complimentary service at the Nigerian Center. The Center will offer free tax preparation services through both walk-in and virtual options from January 15 to April 15.

The informational session, scheduled for January 10 at 12:30 PM ET, is open to the public and prospective organizations interested in promoting the program to their community members.
