2024 Igbo Language Beginners Classes

The Nigerian Center offers Igbo language classes for beginner learners. The live classes are deliberately small, practical, and learning is accessible from the comfort of your own home. No prior knowledge is needed – just an excitement to learn and speak the Igbo language!

This class is designed to help students reach a basic conversational level in Igbo. It will include two weekly classes supplemented by practice sessions for more in-depth, real-life application of words and phrases learned. Students will follow a curated syllabus and will be provided with study materials and weekly activities.

Class Details

• (8) 1-hour weekly live classes

•       Instructor office hours

•     Unlimited access to all class recordings

•       Access to a community of learners for continued networking and practice.

• Age requirement - the minimum age for the class is 18 years old

  Classes are held every Wednesday via Zoom at 6:30 PM - 6:30 PM EST
